Pakistani agricultural science has achieved a notable breakthrough with the development of four new potato varieties, specifically engineered for superior quality French fries and potato chips. Scientists at the esteemed Potato Research Institute (PRI) in Sahiwal have spearheaded this innovation, which promises to elevate the standard of processed potato products across the nation.
These newly introduced lines have been identified as L 5-2, FD 74-30, FD 35-36, and FD 74-50.
