The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a rise of Rs. 1,000 per tola on Wednesday, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA).
As per the latest figures, the price of gold (24 carats) increased to Rs. 220,600 per tola, marking a Rs. 1,000 rise, while the price for 10 grams went up by Rs. 857, settling at Rs. 189,129.
This comes after a previous increase of Rs. 300 per tola on Tuesday and a notable rise of Rs. 3,000 per tola last week.
In the international market, the rates for bullion remained stable at $2,066.8 per ounce, indicating a minimal 0.04 percent change on a day-to-day basis.
Simultaneously, silver prices also saw an increase, with 24-karat silver and 10-gram 24-karat silver gaining Rs. 30 and Rs. 25.72, respectively, reaching Rs. 2,680 and Rs. 2,297.66. In the international spot silver market, the current selling price is $24.13, reflecting a 0.25 percent decrease from the previous day.
