Norway’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide has landed in Pakistan for a historic two‑day visit, the first official trip by a Norwegian foreign minister to the country in ten years.
The visit, scheduled for August 13‑14, comes at a time when Pakistan is keen to diversify its international partnerships and accelerate its renewable‑energy ambitions. In Islamabad, Mr. Eide will meet with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other senior officials to discuss a broad agenda that includes trade, investment, climate action, and educational cooperation.
